Project Overview:
The renovation of the historic Changsha Helong Sports Stadium aimed to modernize its facilities for international sporting events and large-scale concerts. The challenge was to overhaul the aging electrical system to handle sudden, high-intensity power demands from floodlights, giant LED screens, broadcast equipment, and sound systems, all while ensuring absolute safety for tens of thousands of spectators.
We provided a turnkey power distribution solution for this upgrade. The core of our supply included 35kV and 15kV high-performance power cables designed for direct burial and duct banking around the stadium grounds, connecting the main substation to various distribution points. At the heart of the system, we installed multiple 2500kVA dry-type transformers in the stadium's underground electrical rooms. Their non-flammable and self-extinguishing properties were critical for safety in confined public spaces. Additionally, our intelligent power distribution cabinets and automatic transfer switches (ATS) were integrated to guarantee seamless power switching and stable voltage for sensitive performance equipment.
The project supervisors were thoroughly impressed with the rigorous pre-delivery testing reports and the durable construction of our cables and transformers. The stadium's management committee (the owner) lauded our team's ability to complete the installation within a tight schedule without disrupting the stadium's event calendar. They explicitly noted that our equipment's performance during the inaugural event's complex power load scenario was "perfectly stable."
