Project Overview:
During the critical expansion of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, a key aviation hub in Southern China, the demand for an utterly reliable, safe, and efficient power distribution system was paramount. The project required electrical infrastructure capable of supporting massive passenger terminals, sensitive baggage handling systems, and 24/7 air traffic control operations without a single point of failure.
Our company was selected as a primary supplier for the medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution network. We supplied a comprehensive suite of products, including 15kV XLPE-insulated medium-voltage power cables for the main terminal feeder circuits, known for their exceptional dielectric strength and fault resistance. For critical substations serving the control towers and IT centers, we installed highly reliable 2500kVA dry-type transformers. These transformers were chosen for their fire safety, low maintenance, and quiet operation—essential for indoor installations. Furthermore, our advanced low-voltage switchgear and distribution cabinets were deployed to manage and protect the extensive network of lighting, HVAC, and operational systems.
From the outset, our products were commended for their robust performance and seamless integration. The project supervision team specifically highlighted the superior installation characteristics of our power cables and the precision-engineered design of our switchgear, which simplified the complex wiring process. The airport's engineering management (the owner) unanimously praised the zero-defect delivery and the professional on-site technical support provided during commissioning.
To this day, the electrical infrastructure we supplied forms the backbone of Baiyun Airport's power system. Our cables, transformers, and switchgear have operated flawlessly for years, enduring continuous loads and ensuring uninterrupted power supply. This proven track record of safety and reliability stands as a testament to our commitment to quality in one of the world's most demanding operational environments.
