ACAR (Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced) / JL/LB

 This is a high-performance Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR) cable, specifically engineered for "Large Crossing" (大跨越) applications. Unlike standard ACSR cables that use a heavy steel core, this conductor uses a massive 335mm² High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Core surrounded by 745mm² of EC-Grade Aluminum.

The 745/335 ratio is distinct because the alloy core makes up a significant portion (~31%) of the total cross-section. Since the alloy core is both strong and conductive (unlike steel, which is just strong), the entire cable conducts electricity efficiently. It is designed for extreme span lengths (such as crossing large rivers like the Yangtze or mountain valleys) where the cable must support its own immense weight without snapping, while also offering superior corrosion resistance compared to steel-core cables.
